The history of poke (pronounced poh-kay) dates back to the early Hawaiians. Poke simply means “to slice or cut” in Hawaiian. Long ago, fishermen seasoned the cut-offs of their daily catch to enjoy as a snack, maybe adding a little seaweed in the mix. Over time, poke evolved from a side dish or appetizer to the healthy main dish we enjoy today.
Poke Row is committed to quality food and a healthy community. Each month, a portion of their proceeds will benefit a different local charity. They believe that it is their responsibility and our honor to contribute to the organizations that make Central Oregon the best place to live and thrive.
Through years of perfecting and simplifying our process, we are able to honor the journey, the complexities, and the people that are inseparable from the coffees that we roast. We believe in doing things the right way, from our service to our products.
Washington was inspired by the love of remarkable food and a passion for where we live.
Along with our classic, nostalgic dishes, Washington’s menu offers creative touches like a raw seafood bar, salads you can build yourself with a variety of toppings, a unique bento box-style kids menu and liquid therapy at the bar.
We call it liquid therapy at Washington. Whether you choose our signature bottled therapy drinks, seasonal craft cocktails, tableside tonics, hand-crafted elixirs spiced up to suit your taste, or just one of many brews on tap, there’s sure to be a remedy or refresher just for you.

Nam Tok means “waterfall” in Thai and Lao. It’s also the name of our signature dish. Since we live in Deschutes county, and “des chutes” means “falls” we thought this was an appropriate name.
Our focus is Northern Thai food, and Lao food from the region that Lee, the brains behind the food, was raised with.
As a rule, the food tends to have more fish sauce, and be more savory than the sweeter dishes from southern Thailand. Thai food tends to be very Americanized and it is our wish to share with you the food that we are accustomed to. We hope that you will really enjoy this experience rather than the run-of-the-mill Thai food.
