The resident community garden was built by the developer of NorthWest Crossing, West Bend Property Company, and is managed by the OSU Extension Service Master Gardener program. The NWX Community Garden is located at the corner of NW Crossing Drive and Discovery Park Drive next to the Discovery Park dog park. Nearly 50 families participate in the community garden each year.
The NWX community garden features cedar raised beds with irrigation and is enclosed by an eight-foot tall wire fence.
The community garden is open to residents and restaurants in NorthWest Crossing, but also to those living outside of NWX.
Several garden beds are available and will be assigned through a lottery process. If you’d like to participate in the lottery, please contact Tina or Sandi (contact information below) by April 14, 2018 by NOON. Please see information about pricing, bed size and contact information here >>
**NOTE: 2018 Opening Day is Saturday, April 28, 2018, 9:00am (Rain or Shine)
