May 4, 2016 | Much is happening in NorthWest Crossing and we wanted to provide a quick update.
- The Phase 23 Zone Change received a positive recommendation for approval from the assigned hearings officer. The Bend City Council will conduct a hearing on May 18th and we anticipate a final decision from the council in June.
- West Bend Property Company (WBPC), the developers of NorthWest Crossing are requesting a tentative plan amendment for Lot 506, the property located on the NW corner of Lemhi Pass and NW Crossing Drive, just south of Shevlin Health & Wellness Center. If successful, the plan for that lot will change from 30 cottage lots to 15 single family homes. The cross slope topography of the site made cottage development difficult and prompted the change.
- A public meeting has been schedule for the subdivision request for the property known as phase 27. Phase 27 is located between Ordway and Colter west of Mt. Washington Drive. The meeting is scheduled for May 17, 5:30-6:30pm at Discovery Park Lodge. Details about the request and meeting are here.
- Range Apartments will begin construction next month once building permits are secured. The new apartment complex is located directly west of Discovery Park Lodge. You can learn more about the plan and view elevations here. Anticipated completion is summer 2017.
