Each year, the NorthWest Crossing Farmers Market hosts some community organizations and The Waldorf School of Bend is one of them.

The Waldorf School of Bend (WSB) serves families with children from early childhood through ninth grade. An education at WSB follows established Waldorf curriculum, centered on the arts and humanities. The school’s community culture is rich in character, diverse religions and social beliefs, and economic backgrounds. WSB’s shared values include social responsibility and self-awareness, kindness and compassion for humankind, and a strong reverence for the health of our environment. They believe these values lay the foundation for our children to grow and learn.

Erin Hansen, board member for the school, said, “We’ve participated at the NWX Farmer’s Market for the past two years and has loved being part of these events!  It is a great environment to meet new people and see old friends.  The diverse offerings at this market bring those who are looking for home grown, grass- roots, all that is fabulous about Bend products and services.”
