More than just aromatic cut fresh lavender, Tumalo Lavender offers fine handcrafted lavender soaps, luscious lavender lotions, lavender-infused jams, jelly and honey and much more! At their farm, they even offer a refreshing, unique Lavender Lemonade.
Owners Gordon and Judy Knight have been participating in the NorthWest Crossing Farmer’s Market since the beginning. They said, “We have experienced the growth of the market and the enthusiasm of the people who attend. We love seeing the old and new interest in our products. The NorthWest Crossing market offers a festive atmosphere with their unique music and vendors each season.”
Tumalo Lavender was founded in 2006 with the planting of the company’s first 1000 lavender plants. Today, they have more than 9000 lavender plants in the field along with three cold frames and a green house where they provide specialty propagation and grow over 20,000 plants for growers each year. They offer wholesale and retail lavender plants, organic certified lavender oil and hydrosol. In addition, they offer year-round field consultation for upstart businesses and distill their own essential oils and hydrosol as well as custom distillation for local growers.
