La Rosa Authentic Mexican Kitchen Expanding; Plans Move to NorthWest Crossing
NorthWest Crossing, Central Oregon's largest mixed-use neighborhood, today announced that La Rosa Authentic Mexican Kitchen will be moving into the new commercial building on the southeast corner of Mt Washington Drive and NW Crossing Drive. The new location is expected to open in spring 2008.
"We couldn't pass up the opportunity to expand into an evolving, vital neighborhood like NorthWest Crossing," said Carole DeRose, owner of La Rosa. "We really consider ourselves a 'neighborhood' restaurant, as do our loyal patrons. From the new building, we are still centrally located and can continue to serve our regulars and new customers alike!"
One of the key factors in the move was lack of seating and parking at the current location on College Way.
DeRose continued, "Our largest obstacle has been our limited seating capacity and lack of parking. NorthWest Crossing has offered a larger space and plenty of lot and on-street parking."
Plans for the new location are currently in the final design stage and they hope to start work outfitting the interior of the building within the month.
"We were looking for the perfect restaurant to fill our newest building in the NorthWest Crossing Neighborhood Center," said David Ford, general manager for NorthWest Crossing. "A family-style restaurant with great food like La Rosa is just the kind of established, successful restaurant operation that will bring more activity to our growing Neighborhood Center."
The Mexican cafe serves authentic Jaliscan cuisine made from the freshest ingredients to bring out the true Mexicana flavors.
